Taking an entire gym and staff offsite and home with no impact of service delivery is a testament to good planning and agile thinking

Barbell bullies focuses on service delivery, our number one priority has always to keep the promises we made to our members and ensure a healthy body and mind

Over the last few months in order to maintain this promise we had to change the way we operate, and this has also provided deep insight into our ability to cope but mostly importantly to adapt.

Yes, we learnt some valuable lessons along the way – some clients won’t stick through the difficult times, but others will and those are at the heart of what we do – building sound minds and strong bodies no matter what.

The one area we moved quickly to address was ensuring our clients had work out equipment and in a day were able to pack up a gym and allocate equipment as well as a new part of the business emerged which was renting out equipment.

We moved to Zoom sessions online, and sent out programmes via whatsapp to ensure consistency and something the whole family could partake in – Kids, dogs, cats etc were all involved as we were able to peak into the daily lives of our members during lockdown.

Our key valuable takeaways

Understand your members and key drivers to motivate them to keep up their training

Being adaptative – not all members train the same way

Not everyone will support you when times are tough, that is ok it makes room for new members to join and opens up opportunities in new business areas Our mission has always been ensuring our members train in safe, comfortable environment to ensure strong, healthy bodies – that never changed!
